Housekeeping

  • Attendees - please add your name to the list of attendees

  • New folder added to BELA Wiki that groups all Bulk edit related pages (similarly to Lists app)

    • Check your bookmarks as they may have changed.

    • Includes lists of bugs identified in Quesnelia and Ramsons releases.

Ramsons release updates

Bulk edit Ramsons bugfest update:

  • Bugfest is not going well and has been extended. Please help by claiming tests in TestRail! If you don’t have time to claim tests, please do exploratory testing in the Bugfest environment and provide feedback to Magda is something is not working as expected.

  • It’s more complicated this time since we are actually conducting bugfest on 4 environments.

  • Please do not run large bulk edit jobs in Bugfest environment until further notice.

Tickets that prevent some Bulk edit functionality to be tested: Ramsons - Firebird blocking tickets

Known issues/lower priority: Ramsons - Bulk edit known issues

Bulk edit issues identified so far: Bulk edit Ramsons Bugfest Bugs

These issues may be carried over to the Sunflower release. Let Magda know if you disagree with the assigned priority.

UAT Results

MARC instance notes UAT overview

  • 11 participants from 8 institutions

  • Overall positive feedback

  • No showstoppers identified

Suggestions:

  • Add lack of display of 9xx fields in preview table to Bulk Edit documentation (Amanda R. will do).

  • Enhancements for Sunflower: Download preview in .csv and .mrc formats.

Ability to override the optimistic locking in bulk edit rather than having to click on the link to correct each version
