We started out by developing three solid session ideas for the upcoming WolfCon conference.
Then we discussed permissions management UI improvements, specifically UXPROD-3159. After reviewing the ticket (originally from 2021), we determined that with the upcoming Eureka system changes, much of this ticket is either already resolved or will need to be recreated as new tickets due to the radically different permissions structure in Eureka.
The first part of the ticket - assigning/removing users from permissions - appears to be completed in Eureka. However, the metadata display portion (showing descriptions, permission details, etc.) still needs attention. We agreed that roles in Eureka need better descriptions to help administrators understand what they're assigning to users.
We also discussed the broader uncertainty around how permissions work in Eureka, with several members noting the need for more clarity and testing. User management SIG will be picking this up--sessions are planned.
