Finance Transactions

Transactions are generated by activities in FOLIO like ordering and invoicing. Users can also create Allocation and transfer transaction manually as they are building their budgets

Ultimately budgets display their value in three separate buckets, Allocated, Available and Unavailable. Transactions against a budget will determine the value that appears in these three buckets for any given budget.

This diagram shows how transactions impact a budget. It also shows how Unavailable can be broken up to give a more detailed perspective on what activity has impacted the budget.
