Instructions

The feedback form generally follows the steps listed below. We suggest filling out the form as you work your way through the test.

Login

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the credentials provided.
  2. Confirm that your active affiliation is set to "Central tenant"
  3. Look for the "Consortia manager" application in the app menu
  4. Open Consortium manager
  5. Confirm that All available tenants are selected in "Selected members" modal

Role creation - Local 

  1. In consortia manager application
  2. Select "Authorization Roles" in left pane
  3. Select any tenant other than the central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  4. Click action menu
  5. Click "New" to create a new role
  6. Add name and description
  7. Click "select application" button
  8. Select any application (app-platform-full-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.719 contains the capabilities for all modules other than consortia manager)
  9. Click Save & close
  10. Check the boxes corresponding to your desired capability sets for this role (Notice that as you add sets the individual capabilities are automatically check below)
  11. Assign one or more users to role

Role creation - Shared

  1. In consortia manager application
  2. Select "Authorization Roles" in left pane
  3. Select central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  4. Click action menu
  5. Click "New" to create a new role
  6. Click Save & close
  7. Select newly created role
  8. Click action menu in third pane
  9. Click Share to all
  10. Click Submit in confirmation modal
  11. Assign one or more users to role
  12. Select any tenant other than the central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  13. Select the newly created shared role
  14. Assign one or more users to role form the selected tenant
  15. Edit shared role (Currently there is a bug that will produce an error toast when you try to edit a centrally managed role

      Verify in users application

  1. Navigate to Users app in central tenant
  2. In users application
  3. Select one of the users to which you assigned role(s)
  4. Expand "User roles" accordion
  5. Choose relevant tenants in Affiliation dropdown to confirm that roles were correctly assigned to the chosen user (Note there is currently a bug that prevents you from seeing roles for different tenants that are not currently set as your active affiliation) To review the users roles in different tenant you will need to switch your active affiliation and look at that user in the users app of each tenant separately

Role comparison

  1. In consortia manager application
  2. Select "Authorization Roles" in left pane
  3. Select central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  4. Click action menu
  5. Click "Compare roles"
  6. Select a member (tenant) in both view panes
  7. Select a role in both panes (On each side of the view the capabilities highlighted in yellow DO NOT appear on the other side)

User comparison

  1. In consortia manager application
  2. Select "Authorization Roles" in left pane
  3. Select central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  4. Click action menu
  5. Click "Compare users"
  6. Select a member (tenant) in both view panes
  7. Select a user in both panes (On each side of the view the capabilities highlighted in yellow DO NOT appear on the other side) capabilities assigned directly to the user are shown if the user has any
  8. Select a role in both panes (capabilities of the selected role are now also displayed)
