| Backend bridge between username in users API and user UUID in permissions API | Maura is in the process of writing code that will take a username from the users app and look up the user's UUID in the permissions app. The question is if there is interest in advocating for a bit of backend programming to do this, so we don't all write our own programs to take care of the same thing. There was lukewarm interest. The topic will be revisited next week if anyone who was not present today wants to express an opinion. | ||
| Data field user.json.type - What is it? | Maura was asked about this field in the users app, specifially what it was and what it did. Maura, coming up empty, asked the group if they'd heard of it or worked with it. Similar results. Tania posted the query to Slack, and we hope to get a canonical answer soon. |
