College/University typically have security/privacy officer/office; focus on security/privacy of data on campus. (Network security is typically another office.) Campus IDs, cash cards for dining halls and stores.
Offices tend to be consultative/advisory. Work with campus computing, networking, telecom. As advisory groups, they tend to love to have campus offices engage with them.
Michael: suggests identifying one or two of them to review our plans. Now is probably a good time to engage them in this discussion. They typically have checklists or other tools that can be used to evaluate systems.
