5 | Migration experiences and issues | Various | Theodor had the interesting idea of incorporating migrated data into the API testing that goes on during bugfest. Testing procedures like this presume that we have already spec'd and implemented APIs that handle the data elements that are needed for migrating historical data. Where are we with this? Taking, say, circulation and acquisitions, what data elements (or possibly business logic) are still needed to be able to move legacy data into folio in a reasonably efficient manner? Let's discuss this on our Monday call. |
