User record Notes and Patron blocks in Reading Room App

User story statement(s):

As a Security Officer or Reader Registration librarian, I want the option to see any Patron blocks or Notes from a user's record before approving their access to a reading room.

Scenarios:

Scenario:

  • Given the Reading Room Access app is open

  • When a user with the Staff or Patron user type is looked up

  • Then a collapsed "Patron blocks" accordion displays below the Allowed/Not Allowed box

  • and a collapsed "User notes" accordion displays below the "Patron blocks" accordion

  • display a badge with a number designating how many items are in each accordion when the accordion is collapsed

Hi Here are a couple of mocks to get the discussion started.

I’m not sure why on the User record, the Patron blocks MCL doesn’t seem to have the ability to sort columns but the Notes table does. Anyway, I left the Patron blocks as not sortable and added the light gray sort icons on the User notes table since that is a “new” style. Not all apps have it yet but you can see it on Inventory. When a column is sortable it gets the gray arrows. If it is not sortable, then there are no gray arrows.

Let me know if you have any questions or if after talking to the Devs we should make some changes. Thanks!
