Purpose: We need a mock-up to display the patron access to a reading room for Security Officers and Reader Registration Staff.
User story:
As a Security Officer or Reader Registration librarian,
I want to see whether the user is allowed to access the reading room
So that I can track patron access or circulation action according to patron privileges.
Requirements:
For the Security Officer, the Room Access page should contain:
Reading room name
User's name
User's barcode
Expiration date
Whether the user is allowed to access the reading room (how to indicate access? OK/DENIED or ACCESS ALLOWED/ ACCESS DISALLOWED?)
Profile picture
"Note present" link – TBD (How notes will be displayed?)
2. The Security Officer should have the ability to allow/deny patron access.
3. The Security Officer should not have access to user records, any links on a patron record should be disabled.
4. For the user with circulation privileges, whether the user is allowed to access the reading room and access notes should be displayed on the Check-out page. All links on a patron record should be available.
