As of the Orchid release, users can import pre-and post-order data via MARC Bibliographic records. In 2022 Duke and GBV agreed to co-fund development of new serials functionality in Folio. The first part of this session, led by Owen Stephens will focus on the scope of this work, report on progress so far, incluing a demonstration of the current state of functionality in the module, and indicate what is planned for the initial release as well as the medium and longterm goals for the functionality.
Extending receiving capabilities - claiming, routing and binding
Alongside an update on the serials development progress, the second part of this session, led by Joe Reimers, will review requirements for the development of claiming, routing and binding features, getting feedback from participants to help refine use cases, identify gaps and discuss designs.
