Instructions

The feedback form generally follows the steps listed below. We suggest filling out the form as you work your way through the test.

Optional setup

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above)
  2. Navigate to the Organizations app
  3. Create one or more new organizations. Note that they can be, but do not have to be, vendors and/or donors
    1. Please note that for purposes of this test, a "Type" of DMEP partner has been created. If you create new organizations it is recommended that at least one be of this Type.
  4. For at least one organization, please enter data that would normally be required for a DMEP partner
    1. Expand the Contact information accordion
    2. Add at least one address, phone number and email address.
      1. Please note that "Exchange" has been added as a Category. Use of this category is optional, but may be helpful for testing
    3. For purposes of this test, enter Customs Code in the "Description" box

Main test

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above)
  2. Navigate to the Lists (Beta) app
  3. Click "New". Give your list a name.
  4. Under "Record type", select Organizations - Contact info.
  5. Be sure visibility is shared and status is active
  6. Click "Build query"
  7. Using the query builder, enter one or more criteria likely to return results
    1. It is recommended that at least one query test date ranges
    2. It is recommended that other queries be tested (e.g. "Organization name contains library")
  8. Click "Test query" to see if the query returns results
  9. When you have a working query, click "Run query & save" (Note that this may take several moments to complete)
  10. When the query has finished running, at the top of the screen you will see a green notification bar. Click "view updated list" to see the full list of results.
  11. Click Actions → Edit and make any change to the list (e.g. editing the description) and select the columns you wish to export
    1. Note: The above is not part of the normal lists process, but is related to a bug currently being worked on. This step will allow the test to proceed normally
    2. The above bug has been resolved.
  12. Click Actions → Export list (csv). This may take a couple minutes.
  13. Review the CSV output. (Please note that for purposes of this test, we are specifically looking to see if the file can successfully be imported into the DMEP Access database.)
