Instructions

The feedback form generally follows the steps listed below. We suggest filling out the form as you work your way through the test.

Configuration Testing

Note: this is a global configuration, so any changes will be reflected in ALL tests, including those of other testers. This configuration currently can only be enabled. Once 1 testers has enabled the setting it will become inactive and the configuration will be set for the duration of the test. This step is recommended only for those responsible for system configuration. This setting must be set before testing can proceed for other testers.

Central Tenant

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the credentials provided
  2. Set active affiliation to Central tenant
  3. Navigate to the Settings app
  4. Select Consortia manager - Network ordering - Central ordering
  5. Toggle "Allow user to select locations from other affiliations for central orders" active
  6. Confirm and click save

Member tenant

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the credentials provided
  2. Set active affiliation to desired member tenant (Eg Onsite General Collections)
  3. Navigate to the Settings app
  4. Select Orders - Network ordering - Central ordering
  5. Choose and option from the dropdown "Set default for receiving search" to "Central only"
  6. Click save

Workflow Testing

This section assumes that you are familiar with creating and receiving FOLIO orders. If you are not please consult documentation at https://quesnelia.docs.folio.org/docs/acquisitions/orders/#creating-a-one-time-order


Ordering

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the ordering user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Central" (Central tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Orders app

If you have time you can create a variety or orders, different types and formats etc. However, at a minimum please create 1 single line order and 1 multi-line order of your desired type and format.

For the receiving tests it might be helpful to ensure that at least 1 of your orders has "Create inventory" for the chosen format set to "Instance, Holdings, Item". You can also create or use order templates to make the creation of orders faster.



Single-line order (Multi-location)

  1. Create a purchase order of any type for any desired "Active" Vendor
  2. Add a purchase order line to your Purchase order with a quantity >1
  3. Assign 2 different locations for the Onsite General Collections affiliation (the ordering user is only affiliated with the central and Onsite General Collections tenants so you should not have the option for a different affiliation)
  4. Open Order

Repeat as many times as desired, noting each order number.

Multi-line order

  1. Create a purchase order of any type for any desired "Active" Vendor
  2. Add a purchase order line to your Purchase order
  3. Add at least one more purchase order line but feel free to add as many as desired.
  4. Assign at least 1 location for the Onsite General Collections affiliation to each POL (the ordering user is only affiliated with the central and Onsite General Collections tenants so you should not have the option for a different affiliation)
  5. Open Order

Repeat as many times as desired, note each order number.

Receiving

Central

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the ordering user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Central" (tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Receiving app
  4. Search for the order ID of one of your previous orders
  5. If receiving workflow of order = Synchronized order and receipt quantity you should see a number of pieces equal to the number the quantity of the related POL
    1. Verify your orders of this type contain expected pieces
    2. AND item records where appropriate
  6. If receiving workflow of order = Independent order and receipt quantity you should see no pieces
    1. Create one or more pieces
    2. Assign locations to pieces from the Onsite General Collections affiliation
    3. Check "Create item"
    4. Save and close

Local

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the ordering user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Onsite General Collections" (tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Receiving app
  4. Search for the orders you created in the previous section (Receiving area must be configured for "Central only" see configuration video for more info)
  5. Select the receiving title for the order
  6. Receive desired pieces
  7. Add details to related item as needed for your chosen use case


  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the divreceiving user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Onsite Division Collections" (tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Receiving app
  4. Search for the orders you created in the previous section (Receiving area must be configured for "Central only" see configuration video for more info)
  5. Select the receiving title for the order (You will not see pieces listed for the title IF  UIREC-390 - Getting issue details... STATUS  has been completed. When writing this documentation the story is not complete and user will see all pieces for all affiliations.)

Search and export orders and pieces

  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the ordering user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Central" (Central tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Order app
  4. Select Order lines tab
  5. Search and filter for orders you created using "Location filter" (User should be able to filter for any affiliations order even though you only have Onsite General Collections and central)
  6. Using "Actions" menu in second pane - Export results to csv
  7. Review csv export location data


  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the ordering user credentials provided.
  2. Ensure that your current affiliation is set to "Central" (Central tenant)
  3. Navigate to the Receiving app
  4. Search and filter for orders/pieces you created using "Location filter" (User should be able to filter for any affiliations titles even though you only have Onsite General Collections and central affiliation)
  5. Using "Actions" menu in second pane - Export results to csv
  6. Review csv export location data
