20POC for bulk APIsIan

Some struggle with tooling this week.  Still lined up to go...just tuning tools.
Tools:

  • Postgres (hosted Postgres didn't allow for schemas, so adjusting plan in relation to Postgres)
  • Testing out map on read-only schema - which would be very useful for reporting.

More updates to come...

20Priorities for AcquisitionsDennis B. and others

We will revisit Dennis B's. request for comment on changes needed to the acquisitions APIs to support data migration:

  • Wiki page to provide feedback: Acquisitions API migration enhancements (feedback also welcome on the wiki page itself).
    • Let Dennis know if you cannot edit the page.
    • Looking for specific issues
    • The group provided feedback on this page during the meeting (e.g. release version, Jira issue)

Documentation

Various

We will check to see if there has been any activity pertaining to the Folio documentation project as it pertains to data migration:

Related to FOLIO docs. project.

Suggestion so far (for documentation):

  • Order in which to migrate
  • Underlying settings/dependencies that need to exist before certain data is migrated
  • Jon M. may be able to provide entity order documentation
  • Page for this documentation: Documentation
  • Some info. already created by Anne
  • Ingolf will take this information to the documentation group meeting
  • They'll need someone from this group to work with the technical writer.  Volunteers?

Work through proposal for next piece of work – April/May.  Google approves two writers.  We can prepare a list during this group's calls.
