Community Council

• Documentation group:
  • Discussion about funding options for a technical editor (was : Marcia Borenstaijn until Sept. 30,2022) - Extension of the recent contract and/or find a new technical editor 
  • Decision: CC will ask the community for extended funding for Marcia as technical editor  (offer was provided) - additionally we seek for new people to engage in documentation

• Desire to integrate new members: group to work on onboarding

  • Members: Alexis Manheim , Kirstin Kemner-Heek , Martina Schildt , Sharon Wiles-Young , TC member?
  • Concept for this onboarding event is work in progress 
  • Some resources already found during the process
    • New liasion documentation group to  PC:  Martina Tumulla; 9 new testers for bugfest from BSZ network and UB Frankfurt 
• FOLIO reference enviromnent needs new maintainer team
  • • • Status: open: Harry to provide skill set 
• Results from questionaire "Things that could be better about FOLIO" are to be presented shortly
• Update from Tom Cramer about the Resourcing Group
  • Ongoing discussion - now with 3 models  - no results yet
• Announcement of LOC's FOLIO engagement
  • Community has reached out to talk about areas of engagement and possible FOLIO membership

  • Provision of a webpage  "Finances"
  • Funding is stable, enables community to keep a reserve

Product Owners

• Bugfest - November 7 - 18. Please contact Anton Emelianov (Deactivated) for more details. 
• julie.bickle has been working with RA SIG on gathering requirements as a group. 
• (OLD ACCOUNT) Erin Nettifee has volunteered to write requirements for two item state features for item state (https://issues.folio.org/browse/UXPROD-1590 and https://issues.folio.org/browse/UXPROD-1530) 
• POs are planning/defining Orchid release features. 
• Encouraging POs to present at ER&L and NISO conferences 
• Also based on feedback from several community members. We will add a PO Presentations section to Release notes. If a PO has presented a release overview to a SIG then the PO will post to this section.
