A number of enhancements have been requested for agreement lines. This Epic is to gather these together at a high level. Many of these requests are described in more detail at https://folio-org.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ERMSIG/pages/5374024/ERM+implementers

Additional properties

Suggested additional properties are:

• Documents / URL

• Supplementary properties

• Agreement line number (maybe auto-populated but editable?)

• Concurrent User/seat information:

  • Number of concurrent users

  • Unlimited users

  • Should the number of concurrent users be coming from the POL? Or part of the POL link?

  • Could be done as supp prop?

• DRM information

  • Need to define what this is

  • Could be done as supp prop?

Display improvements

• when viewing agreement lines in the agreement, and in the Agreement line search it should be easier to see active/inactive agreement lines based on their active from/active to dates

• When editing an agreement line, the “add POL” button is always at the bottom of the list of POLs - making it hard to access when you have many POLs. Could this be moved into the header or at the top of the list?

• Add sort option to more columns in the Agreement Line search:

  • Active from date

  • Active to date

  • Parent agreement (if possible)

Functionality improvements

Requested:

• Duplicate/copy agreement line

  • Within agreement

  • To new agreement (would need to prompt for minimal agreement info)

  • To other existing agreement

• Move agreement line between agreements

  • Possibly specifically to a related agreement

  • Possibly as part of a “move to perpetual access” workflow? - which may need a “copy” rather than “move” (and potentially an option to “expire (add active to date) and copy”)

• Change resource within an agreement line

  • For the user this should be transparent, but could be a straight replace or could be done by a partial copy and delete (or expire) combination

  • preferred solution is to have this action under: AGL detail view > Actions > Duplicate

  • duplicated AGLs will be created under a new or the same agreement

• users wish to be able to move AGLs between agreements

• users wish to be able to unlink an AGL and retain it; show the description as name/description
