High memory consumption of backend modules

mod-erm-usage-harvester and mod-erm-usage are quite resource hungry when handling report json data.
Since the inclusion of additional report attributes (MODEUSHARV-35) these reports can get quite big and the memory requirement further increased.

This ticket exists to keep track of issues identified around reducing the overall memory consumption of said modules.
