Data Import

Ann-Marie Breaux

UXPROD-47: Batch Importer (Bib/Acq)Analysis Complete

Data Import - Draft Documentation (from last week)

AMB held an "open house" for data import - went through field-mapping and other issues

Today's will focus on updates

Working on issues now - missing permissions, internal PubSub permissions have been straightened out, have solved some things for Missouri State

Lehigh - data import sends too many http calls and can overwhelm Inventory - new update, Lehigh can't overlay as of Goldenrod Hot Fix #2. AMB also recommended Lehigh wait for Hofix #3 or file a bug now

Kelly - what is the timeline for fixes?

AMB- met with CPT to talk about how to stabilize Data Import and they asked for a timeline

Question about Hotfix#3? MODSOURMAN-357: Imported marc records do not contain the 999i subfield, because Instances are not createdClosed is the bug that closed- sorted out the permissions problem and updated some documentation

AMB - any remaining questions about Goldenrod. No, so switched to Honeysuckle - uxprods 2446, 2338, 2286, 2550, 2551, 2615

AMB reviewed some of the refinements they've made on these features

7th feature planned, but moved it to Iris

In JIRA the issue links are color-coded: red=bug, green=story, blue=task

Iris will be the Acq release and there will be several uxprods related to Data Import there, also

#data-import-batchload - Slack channel

Topics for next week

Tentative: Marcia B and documentation

CPT and "workaround" issues from Sept 22

The issues identified here need to be brought to attention of PC - what are priorities? NFRs for the base and put off features, or quick & dirty features to fix later?
