Monthly publication examples

For monthly publications which have volume (one per year, continuously increasing) and issue numbers (going from 1-12 in each volume) an example publication pattern might be setup as follows (this pattern is based on the publication pattern for Nature Medicine / ISSN 1078-8956)

This would result in a set of issues being predicted for 2024 as follows:

The publication American Fruit Grower / ISSN 0002-8568 is also a monthly publication but with slightly different issue labelling. The publication cycle and enumeration information would be exactly the same as Nature Medicine above, but the template would differ very slightly:

This would result once again in 12 publications on the first of each month, but the Display summary labelling would be different as a result of the different template:

Days of publication, per cycle: Day format	`Day (1-31)`	This means you will specify the publication day each month by a number 1-31. Be aware that using “31” will mean that no issues will be predicted for months with fewer than 31 days If the publication follows a pattern of being published on a specific weekday (e.g. first Monday of the month) then you would need to choose `Day (Mon-Sun), Week (1-4)` for this property
Issue 1: Day	1	This indicates that the issue will be published on the 1st of the month. The prompts here would be different if you had specified a different option in the “Days of publication, per cycle: Day format” property
