As a user, I would like to be able to set the status of a usage data provider data record to active or inactive so that I can better manage the data records for usage data providers.
In the list for the overview of UDP records, only the active UDP should be displayed by default. As a user, I can use the search function to display the inactive records if required. See User Story: https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UIEUS-391
Use Case
Some providers of usage data discontinue their service over time, but you want to keep the statistics in your system. Over time, this can lead to more of these types of data records. You have to be able to filter out these data records in order to keep a better overview.
There is currently only a workaround by setting the harvester status to inactive. But it is also possible that you have a data record for a usage data provider that only contains non-COUNTER reports and also has the harvester status set to inactive. The workaround is therefore no longer practicable.
Concept / Screenshots
Edit mode
eUsage > UDP > Edit mode >Section Usage data provider information > New field as a selection list
There should be a selection list Provider status in the section where you can set the status for a provider. The options should be Active and Inactive. The selection is required.
A comparison with the harvester settings is not possible, as the combination of provider and harvester status can be very different depending on the use case and can also change over time.
Detail view
In the detailed view of a UDP, the UDP header should be extended to include the provider status information Active or Inactive.
Behavior of the view of the list of providers
By default, only active data records should be displayed. In the Search & filter bar, there will be a search filter that can be used to search active and/or inactive data records.
Existing providers for which no provider status has yet been set are treated as active providers.
Acceptance criterias (UAT)
As a user, I can set the status for a data record of a usage data provider.
In the edit mode the data record of a usage data provider, I have a selection in the Usage data provider information section where I can choose between the options Active and Inactive. The selection is required.
In the detailed view of a UDP, the UDP header contains the provider status information.
In the provider list view, only active data records should be displayed by default. In the Search & filter bar, there will be a search filter that can be used to search active and/or inactive data records. See also https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/UIEUS-391
Migration of existing providers: Existing providers for which no provider status has yet been set are treated as active providers.
