As a user, I would like to be able to search for the status of a usage data provider record to see which ones are active or inactive so that I can better manage these records.
By default, only active data records should be displayed in the list of providers. Only if you activate the inactive checkbox in the search filters for the provider status in the search will the inactive data records also be displayed in the list of providers.
Use Case
Some providers of usage data discontinue their service over time, but you want to keep the statistics in your system. Over time, this can lead to more of these types of data records. You have to be able to filter out these data records in order to keep a better overview.
There is currently only a workaround by setting the harvester status to inactive. But it is also possible that you have a data record for a usage data provider that only contains non-COUNTER reports and also has the harvester status set to inactive. The workaround is therefore no longer practicable.
