Description

Purpose: By giving each FOLIO page a unique URL, we make it possible to open pages in multiple tabs (for multi-tasking across tabs), to bookmark commonly used pages, and share links.

Scenarios

  1. Scenario

    • Log in to FOLIO Snapshot http://folio-snapshot.aws.indexdata.com/, and open the Inventory app

    • Go to any given Instance record with Holdings data

    • When the Holdings data detailed page (accessed by clicking the button 'View holdings' on the Instance Details Page) is displayed

    • When viewing the holdings record in detailed view then click on the pen in right top navigation bar, and the Edit holdings page is displayed

    • Then the page URL should be unique to the Edit Holding Page

  2. Scenario

    • Given the Holding record in detailed view

    • Then I can right click to open that page in a new tab

NOTE:

This bookmark-feature is implemented for e.g. User Loans Page.

Hi , I am removing you from the tester assignee field on these because they need to get tested asap, as they are going out in the Q2 release and you are on vacation. You can still do PO acceptance when you get back.

How much rework would it take to handle the edit mode via the App's routing? so that it simply shows a Paneset rather than render all of the Layers, etc...

It seems that you can already right-click the pen on the holdings detail view to open the edit page in a new tab.

Though, since the edit page is a layer on top of the details view, which is on top of the main app window, it takes a few moments to draw all the layers.
