| Welcome | ARLEF group has begun some work in this area. There are 10 FOLIO libraries that begin to build a group. Erin re-organised the Integrations page of SysOps. ARLEF group should not maintain its own page of integrations. SysOps is responsible for FOLIO knowledge and understanding of integrations. | ||
| Updates to List of Integrations | ARLEF had added to and reorganized the list. ARLEF will continue to contribute to this section, will come to SysOps again when/if there is a need to re-evaluate. There's a question of whether to move to the Tips and Tricks section, but will keep in SysOps for now. | ||
| Discovery Integration API needs | In PC, Brooks Travis mentioned that there was interest in WOLFcon at integration points with discovery systesm: RTAC, Patron APIs/Circulation, OAI-PMH and record harvesting for discovery in general. All of these need work. Have wanted to bring a group together to bring the relevant product owners and the customers together. Want to get the requirements that will actually fill the needs for large providers, for people who are building discovery integrations, etc. There was already a thought to establish a German group to look at these needs. There is also a interest in ARLEF. See 2022-09-22 Product Council Meeting notes. Send experts in VuFind, Blacklight, Locate and other discovery systems, and also someone from EBSCO to this group. There are edge modules, edge-rtac, edge-oai Slack channel #folio-discovery could be taken over. Set a three month goal for the subgroup. Call for volunteers from RA SIG, Implemeters SIG, MM SIG, then invite to the Slack chanell #discovery. ARLEF is interested in this and would like to continue the documentation. Maybe move the Page to "Tipps and Tricks": Information and User Guides for FOLIO Apps - Information and User Guides for FOLIO Apps - FOLIO Wiki Initial group: Brooks, Erin, Tod, Ingolf, Uwe; call for volunteers . Share the post into ARLEF. This group brings together the next round of requirements. Develop this vs. use the VuFind integrated drivers (Uwe). Nobody owns mod-patron at the moment. Create a space under SysOps Wiki page (Ingolf). |
