Data Import Marc Modifications for MARC Bibliographic Records

A Modify action must be linked to a field mapping profile. This section below covers only the scenario of an incoming MARC Bibliographic record and a FOLIO record type of MARC Bibliographic.

Quesnelia

For a modify action to work in Quesnelia, it is necessary to respect the flow or where modify actions can be placed in relation to other action and/or match profiles in a job. This is explained more fully in the Flow Explanation Technical Document.

The flow can be summarized as If the job profile contains a match profile, a modify action is supported in front of or after the Match but not as the immediate action following the match.
