Consortial Reporting NeedsAll
  • Read/Publish Agreement report 
    • Discussion on inclusion of license terms & overall purpose of report
    • Conclusion — remove license terms

    • Report helps track work done by individuals on behalf of the consortium
    • TAMU is working on the ‘Workflows’ module which automates tasks
      • Could there be confusion in using the term ‘workflows’ here?
      • Possibly, so 'Shared workflows' was changed to 'Shared procedures'
  • Current assigned work items report
    • Rolled into the Work activity report by adding ‘Task/Activity assigned’ to the data elements / description section
  • Cataloging statistics
    • Discussion on whether this too could be in included in the Work activity report
      • Left it separate after discussion of purpose
    • Added info on data loads performed to the data elements / description
  • Initial pass of list is considered complete.

  • Discussion of what to do with latest version of reporting needs.
  • Actions : 
    • As Reporting PO, Corrie plans to take the list back to the LDP team for feedback
    • Post announcement on the Consortia SIG main Slack Channel ; tag Dennis
    • Post announcement on the Reporting SIG Slack Channel
    • Add note to upcoming PC update documentation
  • Will continue discussion as situation evolves and new ideas emerge

Project updates
  • Noah (PALNI)
    • Getting sandboxes set-up of various ILS for evaluation, including FOLIO with an eye to review single and multi-tenant options
    • Looking at various open source discovery services
    • Open to new internal structures which might vary from their current single set-up for all libraries
  • Hedda (BSZ)
    • Planning for FOLIO testing by libraries later this spring 
  • Lloyd (Marmot)
    • Planning to experiment with an OpenRS sandbox (when available)
    • Prospector (in Colorado) uses INN-Reach with ongoing discussions to potentially replace it with OpenRS
  • Stephanie (MS&T)
    • Testing connection with OpenRS & INN-Reach; successful, but further FOLIO testing still needed 
    • Go-live date is May 22, 2024
  • Peter S. (GBV)
    • Go live with acquisitions apps this year ; testing migration scenarios
    • Only used the ERM apps thus far
    • Interested in testing the ECS functionality & cross-tenant unmediated requesting capabilities

Future meeting ideas
  • Revisit presentation idea of ECS functionality related to inventory with new PO (now that AMB has retired)
  • Reach out to Ian I. about updates and extend invitation to a future meeting to present on OpenRS developments
  • If appropriate, Corrie will present on LDP (LDP/Metadb) and how it might find into a consortial setting
