Update default MARC-Instance map for subject sources:

Based on the value in the second indicator, map to a specific source:

  • 0 - Library of Congress Subject Headings

  • 1 - Library of Congress Children’s and Young Adults' Subject Headings

  • 2 - Medical Subject Headings

  • 3 - National Agriculture Library subject authority file

  • 4 - Source not specified

  • 5 - Canadian Subject Headings

Update default MARC-Instance map for subject types:

Based on the field used, map to a specific tpye:

  • 600 - Personal name

  • 610 - Corporate name

  • 611 - Meeting name

  • 630 - Uniform title

  • 647 - Named event

  • 648 - Chronological term

  • 650 - Topical term

  • 651 - Geographic name

  • 655 - Genre/Form

  • Add facet in Inventory Subject browse called “Subject source”

    • Facet populated by the sources of subject headings on Instance records

    • Add counter for each facet option

  • Add new facet in Inventory Subject browse called “Subject type”

    • Facet populated by the types of subject headings on Instance records

    • Add counter for each facet option

  • Add two columns to browse results list, after “Number of titles” column (confirm order)

    • “Subject source”: Containing the source of the subject headings

    • “Subject type”: Containing the type of the subject heading
