Sprint has been assigned, and it is marked for Nolana R3 2022.  Can’t make it a flag if it’s supposed to have more locked down permissions, needs to be a separate end point.  Is optimistic locking a “core function” of FOLIO or not?

Do other systems have optimistic locking? Koha no, Symphony no.  Other sites say it happens more regularly (and this is why they wanted it).

20Migration updates

Bywater migrated OTIS, used Data Import app to handle their 47K records.  Sometimes if a batch had an error just the one rec would fail, other times the whole batch would fail.

Ingolf has one coming up with MARC21.  Ian says there’s a channel on how to do this.  Jeremy says you can input the marc records, EBSCO tools will convert it to json before loading.

Stanford has been working on MHLDs, we can get the records into FOLIO but questions about the mapping, missing some elements. We’ve discussed combining MHLDs with FOLIO holdings, figuring out if we can do that.  Dealing with a problem with Airflow, messaging and passing on to various tasks doesn’t seem to be working.  Tod: no reason to store MFHD, use FOLIO holdings.
