• Dennis reviewed Poppy Release highlights with the SIG (Oct. 24)
• Dennis shared the Acquisitions Interface Fields google doc he's been keeping track of (Oct. 24)
• Dennis reviewed new features planned for Quesnelia Release with the SIG (Oct. 27)
  
• Joe discussed a new feature planned for Quesnelia "restricting funds to specific locations" with the SIG (Oct. 31)
  
• Nov. 7 & Nov. 10 meetings got cancelled as both Product Owners were traveling that week, SIG Convenor out for Charleston Conference & no specific topics raised by SIG members to meet and discuss
• Molly Driscoll from Documentation Working Group presented ideas she had for proposing changes to Acquisitions documentation and sought feedback and questions SIG members had in the most recent SIG meeting (Nov. 14).  The group was very excited about the ideas Molly brought forward and is looking forward to viewing the mock-up doc of changes she proposed before Poppy documentation officially go live in early 2024

• Presentation from Dennis Bridges on the upcoming ECS functionality in Poppy.
• The SIG is working on updating a list of reporting needs for a consortium.

Metadata Management

• Craig McNally and Vince Bareau attended the 2023-10-19 meeting to discuss and answer any questions that may arise from the re-architecting proposal they presented to PC earlier. We provided questions in advance and started directly with discussing them. It was an interesting meeting and we ended with the summary, that the proposal sounds logical and addressed a real issue, but we as SME's are of course just indirect affected.
• Started the round of Poppy PO updates, all with very positive feedback so far: 
  • Charlotte went first with an update on Bound-with functionality that was developed by the Sif team
  • Jacek Gajkiewicz presented work from the MOL team on improved MARC authority linking and the new order for the 008 field
  • Khalilah presented new MARC cataloguing functionality.

• Reporting App
  • "Reporting App" is scheduled for release in Poppy and was successfully tested in BugFest
• Reporting Development teams working on updates to LDP and Metadb reports and derived tables for FOLIO Analytics for Poppy (release scheduled for 12/1/23)
• University of Chicago Reporting Rollout presentation at Reporting SIG meeting on 10/19/23
• University of Colorado at Boulder Reporting Rollout presentation at Reporting SIG meeting on 11/2/23
• Volunteers needed for Reporting SIG Documentation Team (ongoing)
• FOLIO Data Model updates needed
  • Reporting SIG needs to know about data model changes before they are released (Change Management)
  • When we cannot anticipate changes, reports break because they are looking for data fields that have been moved/deleted/updated
