  1. Log into the test environment (linked above) using the credentials provided.
  2. Navigate to the Users app
  3. Ensure that users exist
    1. For purposes of this UAT, there are a handful of staff users created in the system
    2. Create a specific user to which you can assign the roles you create for the test
    3. You will be logging in with the rolemanager AND the user you create so you can keep the password simple
    4. You may want to run this test in incognito (Private) browser windows as it will allow you to be logged in as two different users at the same time. You could also use a browser other than chrome for the Administrative user login.

Role creation

  1. Create a Role.Confirm that your active affiliation is set to "Central tenant"

  2. Look for the "Consortia manager" application in the app menu
  3. Open Consortium manager
  4. Confirm that All available tenants are selected in "Selected members" modal

Role creation for member

  1. Select "Authorization Roles" in left pane
  2. Select any tenant other than the central tenant in the member dropdown, in the second pane
  3. Click action menu
  4. Click "New" to create a new role
