Institution must be an OLE partner fully committed to summer 2019 implementation or fully committed to supporting partners implementing in summer 2019. The work of the team will be prioritized based on the sites implementing first. People not implementing in summer 2019 would get a head-start on their own later implementation.
This group will be addressing practical issues related to the implementation of and migration to FOLIO in summer 2019—theoretical approaches and future implementations will not be covered by this group.
Institution must have staff available to work as equal partners on this team—there will be a significant time commitment (TBD).
Members of this team will create documentation for use by summer 2019 implementers and all future implementers. This documentation will be available for review by others as it is created.
Skills needed by this team include sys admin, documentation, training, business analyst, data migration, subject matter experts, project management, programming, etc.
For communication purposes, each institution implementing in summer 2019 must have one member of this group on the Sys Ops & Mgt SIG.
Members of the summer 2019 team will participate in the summer 2020 team as consultants.
