(ECS member tenant) The 'No action' status is displayed in the 'Instance' column after importing file for updating record

Description

Preconditions:

  1. User is logged in with the following permissions: 
    'Settings (Data import): Can view, create, edit, and remove',
    'Data import: Can upload files, import, and view logs',
    'Inventory: All permissions',
    'quickMARC: View, edit MARC bibliographic record'.

  2. User already uploaded .mrc file with unique 010$z field 2 times (can import the attached one using "Default - Create instance and SRS MARC Bib" job profile)

  3. User is on the "Inventory" app with opened details of one of the imported Instances

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Click "Actions" button -> Select "Edit instance" option

  2. Click "Instance status term" dropdown -> Select "Cataloged" option -> Click "Save & close" button

  3. Go to "Settings" application -> Select "Data import" setting -> Select "Field mapping profiles" -> Click "Actions" button -> Click "New field mapping profile" option

  4. Populate following fields:

    • "Name*" field - Update Instance with Instance status term (or any unique value)

    • "Incoming record type*" dropdown - select "MARC Bibliographic" option

    • "FOLIO record type*" dropdown - select "Instance" option

    • "Statistical codes" dropdown - select "Add these to existing" option

    • "Statistical code" mappable checkbox - select any value from the dropdown list

    Click "Save as profile & Close" button on "New field mapping profile" page

  5. Click on "Action profiles" section on "Data import" pane -> Click on the "Actions" button-> "New action profile" button

  6. Populate following:

    • "Name" - Update Instance with Instance status term (or any unique value)

    • "Action" - Update (all record types except Orders, Invoices, or MARC Holdings)

    • "FOLIO record type" - Instance

    • Link the Update Instance with Instance status term (created in step 4)

    Click "Save as profile & close" button on "New action profile" page

  7. Click on "Match profiles" section on "Data import" pane -> Click on the "Actions" button-> "New match profile" button

  8. Populate following fields:

    • "Name": 010$z-to-Instance match (or any unique value)

    • "Incoming records" - MARC Bibliographic

    • "Existing records" - Instance

    • "Incoming MARC Bib record" - Field: 010, [blank], [blank], z

    • "Match criterion" - Exactly matches

    • "Existing Instance record" - Identifier: Canceled LCCN

    Click "Save as profile & close" button on "New match profile" page

  9. Create new match profile (by clicking "Actions" button on "Match profiles" pane -> select "New match profile" option) and populate following fields:

    • "Name": Instance status submatch - Cataloged (or any unique value)

    • "Incoming records" - Static value (submatch only)

    • "Existing records" - Instance

    • "Incoming Static value (submatch only) record": "text"  Cataloged (no quotation marks)

    • "Match criterion" - Exactly matches

    • "Existing Instance record" - Admin data: Instance status term

    Click "Save as profile & close" button on "New match profile" page

  10. Click on "Job profiles" section on "Data import" pane -> Click on the "Actions" button-> "New job profile" button

  11. Populate following:

    • "Name" - 010z to 010$z match with cat status match (or any unique value)

    • "Accepted data type" - MARC

    • Overview:

    • Attach the following profiles in this sequence:

    • 010$z-to-Instance match (created in step 8)

    • For matches:
      Instance status submatch - Cataloged (created in step 9)

    • For matches:
      Update Instance with Instance stat code (created in step 6)

    Click "Save as profile & close" button on "New job profile" page

  12. Go to the "Data import" app-> Click on the "or choose files" button -> Select file from preconditions -> click on the "Open" button

  13. Select the "010z to 010$z match with cat status match" job profile (from step 11) -> Click on the "Actions" button-> Select "Run" > Click on the "Run" button at the displayed modal

  14. Click on the file name at the top of the log list

  15. Pay attention on the ‘SRS MARC' and ‘Instance' statuses.

Expected Results: The log displays that "SRS MARC" and "Instance" were updated.

Actual Results:  The 'No action' status is displayed in the'Instance' column after importing file for updating record.
