Organizations view pane: Update contact information layout

Description

Overview: Organization contact information is difficult to navigate. Users are having trouble finding out what address relates to what email or phone number etc. Organizing them by category would improve the user experience substantially and save the user time looking for contact info.

Acceptance criteria:

  •  

    • Given the user has selected an organization

    • When expanding the contact information accordion

    • Then user is displayed sub accordions for all possible categories
      see screenshot 1

  •  

    • Given the organization has contact information and related categories

    • When expanding category accordion

    • Then user is displayed all addresses, phone numbers, emails and URLs that have been assigned that category
      AND their metadata
      see screenshot 2

  •  

    • Given the organization has contact information that is NOT assigned one or more categories

    • When populating the contact information accordion

    • Then all of those objects are organized under the heading "Uncategorized"

I'm confused with the requirements. Firstly I found requirement only to add categories to the list. And scope was defined and estimated without any changes inside of displayed components. One of the reason - "mockup" doesn't show all the cases - only emails, phones and address. The second reason - no mention in the text description. Since it was not estimated I would insist to handle the rest of changes, demanded in the comments, through a separate story. Thanks

Looking good, can we not display the category field in this area as it is redundant now that they are organized by category. Also can we tighten up the fields in the address field set. Thx!


The mockup also uses a table format so the headings are not seen multiple times. Is this possible? Or was it not done because it would be difficult to do?
