Purpose: A floating collection is a group of items that are not housed permanently at a specific library, but belong to whichever library has most recently checked in the the item. Using a floating collection will reduce transit time or shipping expenses if sites do not want to move these materials between libraries.
This ticket here is about the display in the detailed view of the enable / disabled floating collection for a given location.
User story statement:
As an system administrator,
I want to have the capability to identify floating collection for a given location.
The work for enabling the floating collection is done with .
Scenarios:
Scenario 1: Display in Settings > Circulation > General > Other Settings > Detailed view, when floating collection is enabled
Login to FOLIO Snapshot, as user diku_admin
Go to Settings > Tenant > General > Location setup
When viewing the page Locations then following is displayed when the Floating collection is enabled, the text Enabled is displayed
Scenario 2: Display in Settings > Circulation > General > Other Settings > Detailed view, when floating collection is not enabled
When viewing the page Locations then following is displayed when the Floating collection is not enabled, and a '-' is displayed.
