Cannot search for requests with tags ( or [.

Description

Overview: When I tag a request with ( or [, I then cannot find it.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log into Nolana Bugfest.

  2. Find a request, and tag it with (

  3. Find another request, and tag it with [

  4. Reset the search filters

  5. Search for tag = (  ; then search for tag [

Expected Results: My taged request(s) appear in the list. **

Actual Results: "No results found. Please check your filters."

Additional Information:

  • In Nolana, this also appeared in the following apps: Invoices, Users. 
    Worked ok in these apps: Agreements, Funds (in Finance), Item (in Inventory), Licenses, Organisations.

  • I could replicate on Snapshot 2.

  • At the time of testing (21 Nov, 10:00 am Central European Time), Snapshot was being so uncooperative that I couldn't test there.

Hi and This is a tags filtering issue that was reported in the Requests app, but also reproduces in other apps, but not all apps. Could you take a quick look at it? Is there something that the non-reproducing apps are doing differently with their filters than the apps where it reproduces? Is this something that we can fix from the backend, or does it require a UI change in all the apps where there appear to be problems? Please let me know if you would like to discuss. Thank you!
