Cannot save item request from On Order item, because need a barcode

Overview: When an item has been ordered, you can navigate from that item On Order in the app Inventory, to Requests to place a request against this item.
I cannot place save&close the request, because the field "Item Barcode" shows the error message "Please select an item and hit enter". However, it is normal that this item does not have a barcode, because it has not been received yet.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Log into Nolana

2. Follow the steps in the test case; you can go straight to the request part from the item of instance = "Julie's Test Instance from PO line"

Expected Results: I can save the request.

Actual Results: I cannot save the request, because the field "Item Barcode" shows the error message "Please select an item and hit enter".

Additional Information:

• (With the appropriate circ rule in place) I could successfully complete this test case in Morning Glory.

• I was able to save a TLR on this instance. Is this actually the new way of achieving the workflow of this test?
