Create Request from Item: Pre-Populated Item Being Remembered After Closing Out

Description

Background: We fixed this before as part of UIREQ-244 but it seems to be back. I have seen it in both https://folio-release-core.aws.indexdata.com and https://folio-testing.aws.indexdata.com

Steps to Repro:

  1. Log into folio-testing

  2. Go to Inventory and find an item

  3. In the pane header dropdown, click Create request

  4. This will open the request create form and your item will be pre-populated (all good so far)

  5. Now close out without creating your request

  6. Now create a new request

Expected:

  • No item data should pre-populate at this point

  • Unit test should be written to cover this, if possible, so we don't see another regression

Actual: The item is pre-populating again

I'm hoping this should be now fixed together with .

There are a few odd things going on here. One, there is no search and no filters are applied in inventory, but you get a results list. That behavior changed a few days/weeks ago, which makes me think you've somehow connected to an outdated instance of folio-testing.

Two, I can't reproduce this. As above, inventory acts differently for me, and cancelling the request correctly clears the item's barcode from my URL, which is not what happens in the screenie.

I'm tempted to close this as "Cannot reproduce". Can you confirm you're still seeing this behavior?
