Link Local MARC bib record to Shared Authority record

Description

Purpose: In a consortium environment, authority control may be managed centrally and shared to member libraries. These authority records need to be discoverable by member libraries and available for linking.

Requirements:

  • Ability to link headings in Local MARC bib records to Shared MARC authority records with permissions in the affiliated member tenant

  • Plugin should contain BOTH local and shared records

Scenarios:

  1. Scenario:

    • Given the tenant is in a consortium environment and the user has permissions in the affiliated member tenant to link MARC authority records

    • When the user is editing a local MARC bib record and selects the link icon

    • Then the user should be able to link a Shared authority record to the heading in the Local MARC bib record

When a user creates a bib record with linked shared and local authority records with the permissions described above (for admin it is not reproduced), the "link/suggestions" request returns an error for the local authority record for both the central and local tenants. Although for the local tenant "link/suggestions" request the suggested local authority record should be returned. The issue is recorded in the last screencast in the above comment.

And please look at the 500 error described in the comment above.

I've retested found issues on https://folio-dev-spitfire-2nd-consortium.ci.folio.org/ 
Issue 1 was fixed, see attached screencast:

Issue 2 was fixed for Derive screen, see attached screencast:

Issue 2 still reproduces for Create screen by user with assigned permissions:
In central tenant:

  • MARC Authority: View MARC authority record

  • Inventory: All permissions

In member tenant:

  • Inventory: All permissions

  • MARC Authority: View MARC authority record

  • quickMARC: Create a new MARC bibliographic record

  • quickMARC: Can Link/unlink authority records to bib records

On first try I've got the "500" error when clicked on "Save & close" button, see attached screencast:

On second try, one of the manually linked fields became unlinked, see attached screencast:

New issue found during sprint testing on https://folio-testing-sprint-consortium.ci.folio.org/ (also reproducible on Spitfire Rancher env)
Issue 2: Links with Shared "MARC authority" are not saved when deriving from Local Instance record (Links with Local "MARC authority" are saved).
