Based on feedback from LOC catalogers, they find displaying References beneficial in helping to decide which authority records to link to a bib field. 

Requirements: Select a MARC authority record plug-in 

• Under Search toggle

  • Include References and Auth/Ref results 

  • Add the below References filter

    • Display under Authority source facet 

  • Open

• Under the Browse toggle

  • Include Reference results 

  • Include the Reference filter as shown below

    • Display under Authority source facet

  • Open

• Search Results list

  • Change column heading from Authorized to Authorized/Reference 

  • The column should now display applicable values Authorized, Auth/Ref, Reference

  • Link icon and Link button should only display for results with value Authorized 

  • If the value is Reference then user is able to click on the Heading/Reference to view the Authority record and the 4XX value should be highlighted (no different from MARC authority app behavior)

  • If the value is Auth/Ref then user is able to click on the Heading/Reference to view the Authority record and the 5XX value should be highlighted (no different from MARC authority app behavior)
