Selecting German as Locale Not Changing Date to DD.MM.YYYY

Description

Steps to Repro:

  1. Log into folio-testing

  2. Go to Settings > Organization > Language and Localization

  3. Select German

  4. Go to Users and look at a user record

Expected: The dates displaying in the record should display as DD.MM.YYYY (at least it used to be)

Actual: Dates displaying as DD/MM/YYYY

It's also working correctly on folio-testing.

So I'm not sure what you saw here, but it seems to have been a transitory problem – the worst kind! (Or, just possibly, pilot error – the best kind )

Can't reproduce on my development box: see the attached screenshot, which shows the dates in the German format "1.10.2017" as expected.
