Inability to create a statistical code

Description

Overview:
T3179: In Accordion Administrative Data --> Go to the Statistical code --> (Validate matching settings)
There were no statistical codes or names configured. The administrative data in the instance record for Statistical code and the settings matched. I then went to settings to add a local stat name and code. I could enter a name but not a code. I got an error.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Logged into FOLIO bugfest as jeustis

  2. Clicked on Apps/Settings/Inventory/Statistical code types

  3. Clicked button to add a new code type

Expected Results:
Expected to be able to add a new local code.

Actual Results:
Error page

Additional Information:
If you go directly to statistical codes and click, I still get the error page.

should the fixVersion for this issue also list 1.12.1?

Here is an example. Zak released 1.12.1 (see above comment) and fix version filed says 1.13.0. So, how are we supposed to figure out if this fix is in the 3.2 release? I don't think digging trough comments is viable.

Manual test in FOLIO Testing, version @folio/inventory 1.12.1000604, using chrome.

I'm now able to add a local statistical code.

Other observations:
The new local Statistical code, does not appear in alphabetical order - it looks a little random. I'll do some more tests to figure out if this problem only occurs for Statistical codes, or it's a general problem introduced for the Settings component.

I'll close this ticket, so we have it solved for Q3.2 bug fixes, and then file a new bug report re. the sort order.
