Description

Purpose: To create a second new request form link: "New request, consortium" (Inventory app., Actions dropdown) for ECS environments utilizing mod-tlr for use in tenants where mod-tlr is present and tenants that allow title level requests.

User story statement(s):

As a circulation staff member using the Inventory app. in an ECS environment that includes mod-tlr,

I need to see that the new requests I am placing are at the “consortium” level,

so that it is clear when placing the request that it will be placed across tenants, no matter my current affiliation named in the top right corner of the window.

Scenarios:

Given for the first three (3) scenarios: ECS environment using mod-tlr, with the following setting checked: “Enable consortium title level requests (TLR)”

_1. Scenario:

  • Given > Inventory > Actions dropdown in the tenant where mod-tlr is present,

  • When I click on the Actions dropdown,

  • Then I see “New request, consortium” as the first action.

_2. Scenario:

  • Given > Inventory > Actions dropdown in tenants that allow title level requests.

  • When I click on the Actions dropdown,

  • Then I see “New request, consortium” as the first action.

_3. Scenario: [Note: need to confirm with Vega first pass plans and order of first or second action]

  • Given > Inventory > Actions dropdown in tenants that allow title level requests.

  • When I click on the Actions dropdown,

  • Then I see the “New request, [tenant name]” as the [second] action [below] “New request, consortium”.

_4. Scenario: [Note: need to confirm with Vega first pass plans]

  • Given > Inventory > Actions dropdown in tenants that do not allow title level requests.

  • When I click on the Actions dropdown,

  • Then I only see the “New request, [tenant name]” option as the New request form link.

Given for scenario five (5): Traditional ECS environment not using mod-tlr, and the following setting unchecked: “Enable consortium title level requests (TLR)”

_5. Scenario:

  • Given > Inventory > Actions dropdown in any tenant,

  • When I click on the Actions dropdown,

  • “New request, consortium” is suppressed, and all requests are considered local.

Note: The new request form needs to be done in all apps. where the action to create a new request is present, including Requests and Users.
