Description

Purpose: In the Consortial central tenant, users will be able to view member library holdings details, but will not be able to act on holdings unless they change affiliation to a particular member library and have holdings permissions in that member tenant. To enforce this, we will suppress the Action menu from any Holdings detail record viewed in the consortial central tenant, no matter what Central tenant Inventory permissions the user has.

Scenarios:

  1.  Scenario 1

    • Given that a user is in the central consortial tenant Inventory

    • When viewing a member library's Holdings details

    • Then suppress the Holdings Action menu and all its actions, no matter what central tenant Inventory permissions that user has

Looks good when tested with a holdings created on the consortial tenant. Since we'll be locking down that capability soon, we'll want to retest this with a member library holdings in the consortial accordion, once is completed. I'll go ahead and close this story for now, but add a note on

Hi How can we confirm this yet, when we can't see the member library holdings (in the consortial accordion) on a central Instance yet?

Ticket verified on consortia rancher and on Sprint testing consortia env. All works good as expected. Moving to "In review" column

Hi linked it by mistake when was blocking tickets related to member tenant's shadow instances, unblocked this one, thank you!

Hi Why does MODINVSTOR-1103 block this UI story? The shadow instance will be over on a member tenant, and this story is hiding the holdings actions on the central tenant.
