Data Import profiles not in alpha order

Description

Overview: Data import profiles do not always display in alphabetical order, especially field mapping profiles (in the main results list and the connect field mapping widget) and all profile types in the connect profile widget

Current workaround: Click the sort option at the top of the results list

Steps to Reproduce:
Scenario 1:

  1. Log into FOLIO-snapshot-load as diku_admin

  2. Go to Settings/Data import/Field mapping profiles

  3. Create a new field mapping profile with a name that starts with "A" and only required details

  4. Save the profile

  5. Close the field mapping View by clicking the x

  6. Review the list of field mapping profiles

Scenario 2:

  1. Create a couple action profiles, match profiles, and field mapping profiles with names that start with A or Z

  2. Go to a Job profile and select to add a Match or Action profile OR

  3. Go to an Action profile and select to add a Field mapping profile OR

  4. Go to a Field mapping profile and select to add an Action profile

  5. Review the list of profiles in the selection widget

Expected Results: Whenever a result list of profiles is displayed, it should display in alphabetical order

Actual Results:

  • Scenario 1: When field mapping profiles are newly created, the updated list of field mapping profiles is not in alpha order

  • Scenario 2: When profiles are first displayed in the selection widget, they are not in alpha order. When displayed a second time, they are in alpha order

Hi All looks fine now on Snapshot. Thank you for fixing! Moving this to Awaiting release. Actually moving to Closed, since it was part of the 6.0.0 release

I'll also check the TestRails and set their statuses

Hi I couldn't reproduce the 2d scenario, could you double-check, please?

Ann-Marie BreauxJanuary 25, 2023 at 8:04 AM

This will probably need 2 TestRails - one for each scenario
