NLS. Implement use of simple HTML tagging in the staff slips

Description

Overview:

NLS has a need to be able to lay out the current staff slips, e.g. table layour and resize barcode images.

A Spike conducted an investigating of the use of basic HTML tagging - .

This work has been reviewed by NLS and by the Stripes Force developers.

To do:

This ticket is about implementing following proposed solution for HTML formatting the staff slip formatting:

 

Using HTML tagging:

  • Allow for Columns or tables

  • Allow to crop large barcode images, by setting the hight and width of the image

  • Allow for aligning left, center, right in the different cells

  • Allow for the addition of containing boxes and lines

  • Option to fit to page - all content is contained to a single page.

Permissions:

No additional permissions are required for this feature.

Questions / Concerns:

The solution must not violate the Security implemented in the current template.

This is done — — to the extent that it detects (by interface version number) whether the back-end supports the “is this raw HTML?” flag, displays and maintains it when it’s supported, and passes a relevant prop down into the template editor library. The remaining work is in there ( ).
