Permissions: Getting Fetch Errors When Logging In With Create User Permission

Description

Overview: When logging in with permissions that should give me access to the Users app, I am getting Fetch errors

Steps to Repro:

  1. Log into http://folio-uidemo.aws.indexdata.com/ as a user with permission: Users: Can create new user

  2. Go to Users

Expected Results: Should be able to view and edit all users plus create new users per LIBAPP-146: Permissions: Can Create New UserClosed.

Actual Results:

  • Getting two errors:

    • Error fetch on 'users' AND

    • Error fetch on 'patronGroups'

  • Can only see own user in the search results

So I think it's properly a duplicate not of https://folio-org.atlassian.net/browse/STRIPES-277#icft=STRIPES-277 but of FOLIO-516.

Right – this was nothing to do with lacking the requisite permissions, but a third manifestation of a more fundamental implementation error in RMB-based modules and PostgresQL.

"Can create new user" should provide what's needed to view, search, edit and create users. Why are there missing permissions?
