The whole page is printed instead of instance detail pane

Description

Preconditions:

1.Authorized user with Inventory "View instances, holdings, and items" permission is logged in

2.At least one instance with holding and item is created

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to "Inventory" app and open Instance from Preconditions item #2 details pane

  2. Click on the "Holdings" accordion contains item(s) 

  3. Change browser page width to see only Instance details pane

  4. Press "Ctrl+P" combination on the keyboard

Expected Results:

  • "Print" popup is displayed and contains portrait print view of Instance from Preconditions item #2 details pane in the actual state

  • "Holdings" accordion is expanded

  • Item(s) list is displayed

Actual Results:

  • "Print" popup is displayed and contains the whole page 

  • "Holdings" accordion is expanded

  • Item(s) list is displayed

Hello  

It seems I have to update steps a bit. Previously we could change the browser page width to see just one details pane and print only this pane. Currently it does not work. I also found same issue in another modules, so I think it would be better to change responsible team to Stripes.

Hi Ctrl+P is a hotkey to print a page, why is it supposed to print just a part of the page? Do we have requirements for it described somewhere?
I guess the testrail says that it actually has to print the page with the actual state of Instance view (Holdings accordion is expanded and not collapsed as it is by default), but not to print just the Instance view pane.
