IMLS National Leadership Grant (US)
Project Grants can be as high as $1M. Major dates in annual cycle are:
- October: first round proposals due
- March: invited second round proposals due
- Sept: project starts

Note that for IMLS NLG a 1:1 cost share is required for grants > $250k. We’ll have to think carefully about the contributions from US institutions that might make up that cost share
DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft/German Research Foundation)
- While international cooperation is welcome, only the German (non-profit) institutions are funded and a clear cost separation is expected.
