Announcements and Housekeeping

Tara Barnett

  • Housekeeping: last time we finished prioritizing our list. I am as ever behind on notes. We said we wanted to do these things before next time:

    • What we need to do with our prioritized list (tick)

      • The plan is for the POs to review our list quarterly, and for us to submit to them our highest issues a few weeks before hand. They will review and provide us with feedback. I’ll keep an eye on when this is coming up.

    • What labels we would like to use in Jira (and how they should be applied, and who by) (tick)

      • Our label is appinteractionsig. I need to apply the label, but I don’t have privileges to do so--need to figure this part out. Fixed!

    • What we would like to cover at upcoming meetings (question)

  • Upcoming meetings (Tara)

    • What would we like to do?

Updated Dates

Laura E Daniels

  • What should the homework be? (Tara)

  • Changes made in one record trigger change to last updated date in another record (see for example MODINVSTOR-1220 - Getting issue details... STATUS )

    • From Laura on Slack:

      • We do not want changes to related records to modify the last updated date in most cases.

      • In other cases, it makes sense for the related record's updated date to change, but we want the user to be reflected as "system" rather than an individual.

      • Having a change tracker in place would alleviate many of the concerns, though perhaps not all. ( UXPROD-4125 - Getting issue details... STATUS )

    • See Owen’s points in Slack: https://folio-project.slack.com/archives/C04DS8DN9J6/p1722264926142739
