10 | FOLIO ECS Update from Oct 2 | Dennis | Poppy: users can be affiliated with multiple tenants and switch between. App Consortia Manager lets you manage Settings for all tenants in one place. Permissions can be done there. Shared instances (one record governed by central tenant). Can only be edited if you have edit permissions in the central tenant. Holdings/items live in local tenant, and can be edited by those with perms only in the local tenant. Same idea with authorities. OAI-PMH harvesting has consortial features. Can harvest all shared instances, or can harvest all for one tenant (including their local holdings/items) Ramsons: roles and policies updated. Can compare roles and users (to see roles). Inventory: ownership of holdings/items can be updated - can move from one tenant to another. Mediated requests feature all done within Folio, between Folio tenants. Uses Locate. More in-depth demo can be done for this SIG. | |
