 Quesnelia release update

Bulk edit (Kanban Board) 

  • Final sprint before bug testing and release

Functionality planned for Quesnelia and delayed until Ramsons:

  • ISBN and ISSN identifiers support for triggering bulk edit will be addressed in Ramsons.

    • Delayed to do issues with finding duplicates and normalization

      • Preventing changes to records that were not intended to be changed

  • Building query based statistical codes.

    • Needs more conversation around what kinds of operators needed before implantation

  • A temporary PO, Joe Reimers, is in place for Quesnelia

    • He has been added to our Slack channel. He works with Dennis on Finance and is working on receive and binding apps.

UAT - Bulk edit

Please test scenarios!

In Meeting Testing:

  • Sara Colglazier is the in-meeting tester.

  • Suppress from discovery testing results are as expected.

  • Staff suppress testing results are as expected.

  • Combined suppress from discovery and staff suppress testing results are as expected. Request for verbiage to alert user to how many holdings and items are updated; Jira exists but is delayed to Ramsons.

    • Error appeared on one Instance due to changes in the records attached to the Instance = Optimistic locking

      • A more user friendly, human readable error message would be ideal for users that are not familiar with the API technical responses.

      • Use quickMARC optimistic locking error message?

        • Ask on Slack.

        • Magda will create a Jira.

  • Electronic access testing started with URIs
