Lisa McColl | Lehigh University | I have had the pleasure of working with various FOLIO special interest groups and working groups since FOLIO’s inception. As the Metadata Services Manager at Lehigh University, I have a hands-on understanding of many different aspects of FOLIO. A long-time proponent of Open-source software in libraries, I am interested in working with the Product Council to help further the goals of this very import open-source project. I have attended the Product Council meetings this past year as an observer. As a result, I have a better understanding of the way the PC works and feel I can contribute positively to the council. |
Alexis Manheim | Stanford University Libraries | Please consider electing me to the FOLIO Product Council for a second term. My qualifications: *Two years serving on the PC as co-chair *AUL for Tech & Access Services at Stanford Libraries, overseeing Access Services, Acquisitions, Metadata, Preservation, and Remote Storage departments *Co-chair of Stanford’s FOLIO Steering Group that led a successful migration in Aug 2023; responsible for high-level decisions and encouraging collaboration across campus units and libraries; *Extensive experience designing cross-departmental workflows with broad organizational impact *Trusted partner in creating and implementing policies and programs with peer libraries and vendors to facilitate practical and creative solutions to present and future needs. |
Autumn Faulkner | Michigan State University | I’m a faculty librarian and supervisor of cataloging operations; I can speak to data consistency, library system needs and expected behaviors, etc. My leadership and process development work includes chairship of the MSU Libraries Strategic Plan and other MSUL governance bodies, as well as officer positions for organizational boards and conferences. I can bring high-level thinking and priority assessment to the PC table. In our 4th year as a FOLIO institution, MSU is active in SIGs, UAT testing, and more. I’ve been plugged into Bulk Edit and Data Import SIGs for a couple years now. Service on the Product Council feels like a logical next step, in terms of helping share the load of FOLIO development. |
Caitlin Stewart | Library of Congress | I am seeking a seat on the FOLIO Product Council to enhance communication and coordination between the Library of Congress and the broader FOLIO community. As the Business Lead for the Library's FOLIO implementation, I have been integral to our library service platform modernization from the outset, leading market research, procurement, and planning efforts. Currently, I am responsible for defining and prioritizing our functional needs as well as developing strategies to meet them. I hope that my experience and dedication to FOLIO's success will be valuable in fostering collaboration and ensuring our collective goals are achieved. |
